Feb 22, 2010

Statewide Conference Call for Media Will Announce Aggressive Campaign To Hold Senate Republicans Accountable

As part of their ongoing efforts to reverse 44 years of dysfunction at the hands of Joe Bruno and his Republican cronies, New York Senate Democrats will unveil a new campaign this Monday targeting 22 Republican Senators who just two weeks ago stood in opposition to historic ethics reform.

In a Statewide Conference Call with media outlets, Democratic Senate Campaign Committee Co-Chair Sen. Antoine Thompson (D-Buffalo) and DSCC Executive Director Josh Cherwin will outline elements of a new interactive campaign that enables New York taxpayers to hold Senate Republicans accountable for siding with the special interests and the corrupt status quo by blocking sweeping ethics legislation.
